About: Ranking

A curriculum and a grading system similar to the Brazilian jiu-jitsu ranking system and the Brazilian Judo ranking system is developed in order to develop uniform minimum standards and better rank its practitioners.

A black belt might take up to a minimum of four years to ten years of practice. Although it's a no-gi grappling style, practitioners can wear their belts if they want.

Rankings are divided into three categories: beginners, intermediate and advanced.

Intermediate students must be above 16 years of age and they should be proficient in vale tudo techniques.

Advanced students are allowed to be instructors.
